This is a very brave thing for Erica to do. All this time the only thing Erica has wanted is for Scrappy to be Faithful and be a great dad to his child. At least he got one of the two things correct.

Is the Queen and Shay what led to this? I’m sure his daughter is happy to have a dad that knows how to express so much love. There is nothing like a daddy’s love for his little girl. Too bad Scrappy doesn’t know how to transfer this love into making himself an honest man for Erica. Maybe his heart is still with Shay or maybe like most men he’s just selfish!

Well I den seent it all. What in the world is happening here??? Morehouse Men on Honor?? This is NOT how we conduct ourselves. Bill Cosby nor Spike Lee would be very proud AT ALL! Channel 2 Action News has learned that at least three Morehouse College athletes are charged in connection with a rape. The three men play on the college’s basketball team. A player on the college’s football team has also been charged in a separate rape case.
Attorney Jackie Patterson told Channel 2′s Tom Jones his client, Chukwudi Ndudikwa, never touched the victim and will be vindicated.

Jones talked to students from the Morehouse campus about the allegations and they told him they are appalled that something like this could happen on campus.

“It’s sad and it really hurts me as a student and those are my Morehouse brothers,” student Dominique Merriwether said.

Two Spelman College students, in two separate incidents, accused the four of rape. The allegations stunned Spelman students.

“To know that it was somebody, a Spelman sister, somebody so close, is very frightening,” Spelman student Lorraine Levels told Jones.

In the first incident, police said Morehouse basketball players Malcolm Frank and Shukwudi Ndudikwa raped an 18-year-old female student on campus in the East Suites in March.

Tevin Mgbo faces kidnapping, reckless conduct and sodomy in the attack.

It seems Elle Duncan took Martini Moments too seriously. Not before driving honey. Maybe she can be an official cast member of Nicci Gilbert’s “Divas and Cocktails” show. Poor Elle. She just can’t catch a break! First fired from V103 and now this. Allegedly, her past behavior was linked to alcohol problems in the past as well. Perhaps this is a wake up call for Elle to get some help. Really the news traffic reporter arrested for DUI? That’s like what? I won’t even go there. Elle Duncan, an 11Alive traffic reporter, Atlanta Hawks sideline reporter and former V-103 jock, was arrested on a DUI charge early Sunday morning after a Hawks playoff game.

According to a brief report on 11Alive.com, there were no injuries. She was not on air this morning and the station “will be giving Elle the time she needs to deal with this personal incident.”

The Family of Emmett Till wants to meet with Lil Wayne and PepsiCo after the APOLOGY went WRONG.

Airicka Gordon-Taylor, cousin of the late Emmett Till was “not impressed” by Lil Wayne’s apology for making mention of Emmett Till on Future’s song Karate Chop earlier this year. The family has requested a meeting with the rapper and representatives from PepsiCo to discuss their commercial partnership. The meeting organized by Al Sharpton will give all parties a chance to disucss the “vulgar”reference in relation to Lil Wayne’s representation of Mountain Dew owned by PepsiCo.

Gordon-Taylor said

“It was disappointing because there was no apology, it came more than 75 days after the song hit the Internet and it actually was leaked on the Internet before the family received it.”

Wayne’s representatives tell the family there was an attempt to hand deliver the letter.

“I think that he’s kind of been pressured or he’s been admonished to make a statement to the family because of the ongoing negative publicity and attention and the pressure we’ve put onto his endorsement with Mountain Dew,”

“I feel like it was an acknowledgment. He has finally, publicly acknowledged the ongoing outcry. It was not an apology. … However, I think it’s a start. I think the door is now open for us to have a sit-down, to have a dialogue.”

History Lesson:

Emmett Till was the black teen from Chicago while visiting family in Mississippi in 1955 was violently lynched — allegedly for whistling at a white woman. He was beaten, had his eyes gouged out and was shot in the head before his assailants tied a cotton gin fan to his body with barbed wire and tossed it into the Tallahatchie River. Two white men, including the woman’s husband, were acquitted by an all-white jury. Till’s body was recovered and returned to Chicago where his mother, Mamie Till, insisted on having an open casket at his funeral. The pictures of his battered body helped push civil rights into the cultural conversation.

The Letter:

Addressed “Dear Till Family,” appeared on the Internet this week:

“It has come to my attention that lyrics from my contribution to a fellow artist’s song has deeply offended your family,” Wayne writes. “As a father myself, I cannot imagine the pain that your family has had to endure. I would like to take a moment to acknowledge your hurt, as well as the letter you sent me via your attorneys.”

Wayne says moving forward he will not reference Till or the family in his music “especially in an inappropriate manner.” He tells the family he supports Epic’s decision to take down the unauthorized version of the song and to not include the reference in the official version. He also says he has removed the song from his catalog and will not perform it live.

“I have tremendous respect for those who paved the way for the liberty and opportunities that African-Americans currently enjoy,” Wayne writes. He concludes, “my ultimate intention is to uplift rather than degrade our community.”

He signs the letter with his real name, Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.

Wayne’s publicist said Thursday night that there would be no immediate comment.
